I’ve long been fascinated by the idea of visualizing dreams and the inner world of the mind. Sometimes I even get spontaneous pattern ideas when I close my eyes, though translating those visions onto paper has often been a challenge. Through trend research, I decided to merge the theme of dreams with current developments in technology, and that became the foundation for Digital Dreams.
The collection is built around abstract elements, shimmering surfaces and textures, and candy-colored hues softened with muted tones. Three out of the four patterns I created for this theme were designed digitally from start to finish.

Digital Dreams is one of the concepts I developed during my freelance internship. The aim of the internship was to explore my personal style and design identity, study current trends and apply them to my own work, as well as develop my professional skills and ability to work independently. A key part of the project was to experiment with many techniques and step outside my comfort zone in preparation for an upcoming student exchange in Japan.
Before starting the internship, I visited the Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt to gather inspiration and discover the latest textile trends. I continued my research through WGSN reports, analyzing both pattern and color directions.
The freelance internship resulted in 11 patterns across three different themes. The Digital Dreams collection includes four patterns, each with several color variations.
