Kasvien salainen maailma, "The Secret World of Plants", is a bedroom collection I designed for the printed textiles course. The collection was inspired by the trend colors of the Hypernature theme at Heimtextil exhibition and plants photographed under ultraviolet light. The four-piece collection includes two printed textile products, a woven blanket and a rag rug.
The collection was created in collaboration with Finlayson, keeping their product range and design philosophy in mind. The brief was to create a spring collection consisting of 3–4 products for kitchen, bedroom or home decor. The final collections were presented at Finlayson’s office in December 2021. Later, I ordered custom duvet covers based on my design via Spoonflower.
