A fabric I designed and hand-dyed during a dyeing course at Joshibi University in Japan. The design is inspired by classic memory games. It was created with a traditional Japanese rice paste technique, in which pigments are mixed directly into the paste. Some elements were painted freely by hand, while others were made with stencils.
